III. MATERIALS WEBMASTER NEEDS AT THE START OF THE SEMESTER

Teachers and TAs submit the needed information as part of the registration process. Teachers and TAs are sent an email which they should click on and fill in certain requested information in order have their class registered and their own home web page available to them.

To insure teachers complete the registration process in a timely manner, the webmaster "cheerfully" reminds them. Teachers, once they have completed their own information, can see which TAs have and have not completed the registration process. They can then "cheerfully" remind the TAs to complete the registration process.

As indicated in Section IV (Important Things You Should Discuss with Your TAs), you can click on MY TEACHING ASSISTANTS and see which TAs have logged on to the publicanthropology.net website when. (This allows you to see which TAs are, and are not, taking the project seriously.) As an added bonus, the last time each of your TAs logged on to the publicanthropology.net website is listed on your home page.

PLEASE NOTE: It is expected that TAs will log in at least 10 times during the Community Action Project. Since the two weeks of registration (prior to the actual project) and the two and a half weeks of the project itself constitute a total of 31 days, this is not an onerous task. Failure to log in at least 10 times during the 31 days means a TA does not receive the Amazon Gift Certificate normally provided in appreciation for a TA's assistance with the project.
