Pollen laboratory facilities are quite limited, thus we are called upon frequently to assist students, scholars and occasionally the public in performing various types of analysis. Recently, I aided an entomology graduate student in residence in Seattle, with the analysis of locally produced honey. This information has proven invaluable in aiding in the determination of bee foraging patterns.
