Brief Elaborations
of
Bettina Arnold I have served as either President or Vice President of the Milwaukee Chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America since 1999, a role that involves organizing and hosting 6-7 lectures each year that are free and open to the public, with an average audience size of 70-80 people. This year we also organized a bus trip to Chicago for interested community members to visit the Pompeii Exhibit at the Field Museum. I am co-director of the Center for Celtic Studies, which also funds and organizes numerous lectures and other events that are free and open to the public. The Celtic Studies Certificate is open to community members as well as students enrolled in a Bachelors or graduate program at UWM. I am the General Editor of e-Keltoi, a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary on-line journal of Celtic Studies that provides reliable, scholarly information on the Celtic world to anyone with access to a computer: http://ekeltoi.uwm.edu/
