Jane Adams I work in the rural midwest and lower Mississippi Delta, dealing with the historical transformations of the region and the complexity of race, class, gender, ethnicity, religon, in those processes. I have always viewed the people I work with as one of my audiences. Since 2000 I have worked with photographer D. Gorton to make videos and web sites based on our research (see links on my homepage http://www.siu.edu/~anthro/adams).
