None at Present Office of International Programs The Office of International Programs is dedicated to the development of educational opportunities, research, and other services essential to Purdue's ability to perform its land-grant university mission in the context of the global environment of the 21st century. Examples of its current outreach programs are: a) Modeling Electricity Trade in Southern Africa involves Purdue's State Utility Forecasting Group helping 12 African countries consider the benefits of trading electricity among themselves and b) the CIBER program links the manpower and information needs of U.S. business with the international education, language training and research capabilities of universities across the U.S.
