James Collins

Workshops in local schools on Mexican immigrants and bilingual language education.

Lawerence Schell

Has been active in encouraging partnership reseach -- outreach to educate partnering communities, validate their knowledge, and improve community members' lives -- within anthropology and medicine. In support of this, he is involved in the Center for the Elimination of Minority Health Dispartiies, has written two peer reviewed papers on partnership research and community based action research among the Akwesasne Mohawk and has organized a symposium at the annual meetings of the Human Biology Association on the subject of partnership research as a way of introducing and encouraging partnership research among academic colleagues.
