2. Mindy and Petey: It was very early in
my relationship to the men and women in these photos that I snapped this
image of Mindy and Petey fixing at Petey and Hank’s camp. I asked her
for permission to show this image at a conference warning her that a large
number of people would see her like this projected onto a large screen.
My main concern was how easily identifiable I thought she was. She studied
the photo for a minute then looked up at me and said: "Y’know Jeff,
if you can’t see the face, you can’t see the misery…"
